MU fans furious, demand immediate expulsion of a player after defeat to Newcastle

Manchester United's 1-2 defeat against Newcastle United generated considerable debate, especially regarding the disappointing display by a key defender.

Many Red Devils supporters even declared they never want to see Malacia play again after what was deemed a "disastrous" defensive error leading to the decisive goal.

In reality, Malacia's career at Old Trafford has faced significant challenges over the past two years. He missed the entire 2023-2024 season due to a serious knee injury. It wasn't until November 2024 that this player could return to action before being loaned to PSV Eindhoven for the latter half of the season.

Upon returning to Man United, Malacia still did not feature prominently in manager Ruben Amorim's plans. In fact, this defender was even included on the list of players to be offloaded, alongside Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, and Antony. After failing to secure a move away during the summer transfer window, he was only called back to first-team training in late September.

The match against Newcastle was only Malacia's second appearance of this season. However, instead of seizing the opportunity to make a positive impression, the Dutch defender further tarnished his image in the eyes of the fans.
